Dear Valued Customer,

As per below advisory which was sent out on 8th February 2010, all imports will need to submit Quarantine Declaration to MAF at least 12 hours prior to vessel arrival into Ports of Auckland. Attached is the details of the new implementation.

If  Quarantine Declaration is not submitted will lead to containers being subjected to:
- a 6 sided container inspection by MAFBNZ.
- Inspections are cost at recovered at $100 per hour or part there of.
- Additionally port moves may be incurred and possible delays in obtaining container release from the port.

- Demurrage and detention should there be delay in clearing cargo.

Maersk Line will not be liable for any delay due to non compliance to the new requirement by MAF
